It’s a big claim, but if you’re a young person looking for your first home in a big city, Manchester property accountants really might be able to make your dreams come true.
Figures from Aviva show that Britons in the 18-24 age group look to the big cities – including Manchester, Edinburgh and Birmingham – as the main place where they believe their dream home is to be found.
At 12%, roughly an eighth of those surveyed, the cities outrank other age groups’ dream destinations, such as the Home Counties (11% of 18 to 24-year-olds) and retirement hotspots like Cornwall and Devon.
But many young people aspire to more than the traditional mid-terrace starter home they might be expected to be able to afford.
Over a fifth (22%) say a modern detached property would be their dream home, while 13% favour contemporary apartments.
And women have a taste for classical architecture, with 16% saying their dream home would contain period features.
Whatever your tastes, Manchester property accountants can help you to understand the costs involved in buying a house or apartment, along with how much you might be able to borrow from a mortgage lender, helping you to take the first step towards making your property dreams come true.
